There are two main approaches to

These injections wear off progressively over a period of around 6 to 12 months, meaning that repeat injections may be needed around twice a year. Early clinic studies indicate the duration of effect increases over time so you may require less frequent injections in the future to maintain the result you have come to like.
The pain associated with the injections is minimal. Many patients describe it as an ant bite sting for a few seconds. Local anaesthetic can be used if required. Treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of areas you want to treat.
